The Restaurant Lötschberg actually belongs to the producers

The Restaurant Lötschberg is truly unique in its ownership structure, in its menu and in its wine list offerings. Over 30 winegrowers, 2 distillers and the Swiss PDO-PGI Association comprise the proprietors of the Restaurant Lötschberg, which is situated in the heart of Bern. In addition to ownership, they also supply the “Lötschberg” with their exquisite traditional Swiss specialties, which the skilled kitchen team then use every day to prepare delicious dishes.

It shouldn’t be surprising then that the “Lötschberg” offers the most extensive and comprehensive wine list of exclusively Swiss wines from all parts of the country, as well as a wide selection of authentic Swiss dishes. Only products of Swiss origin are used to complement the traditional cheese and sausage varieties that have been protected by the Swiss Confederation as PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) or PGI (Protected Geographical Indication).
